Privacy and data
We build simulations of places, not records of people. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
On this website
- If you write to us, we keep your name, work email, organization, and message, to answer you. Nothing else is asked for.
- We measure visits to understand which pages help, two ways for now: our own counter, which sets no cookies and stores no names or IP addresses (pages seen, time on each, buttons used, and the city a visit comes from, kept for 13 months), and Google Analytics, which does set cookies. Once our own counter is proven, we turn Google Analytics off.
- We don’t sell or share what you send us.
In a simulation
- Every person in a simulation is a persona: a goal, an expectation, and a preference. None is a real customer.
- Simulations never use faces, biometrics, identities, or camera footage of real people.
- Personas are built from aggregated patterns and public data, never from an individual’s record.
When you are a client
- We use what you share for your engagement only.
- Where the work allows, our tools run in your environment, so your data doesn’t leave it.
- At the end of an engagement we return or delete your data, as your contract says.
- Client work stays the client’s. We show it publicly only with written permission, and otherwise on SimFinancial, our fictional bank.
