AisleSim · Beyond banking

Test the aisle before you rearrange the store.

AisleSim is a simulated store aisle. Retailers and brands test shelf layouts, product facings, packaging, and signage, and see how shoppers would respond, without moving a single shelf. It applies the same simulation approach as BXS to retail.

Why simulate the aisle

Changing a store is slow and costly, so test the change in a simulation first.

Rearranging shelves, reprinting packaging, or replacing signage across stores takes time and money, and you only learn whether it worked after it is done. AisleSim gives your team a realistic, flexible copy of the space to try ideas in first, so the version that reaches your stores is the one that works for the shoppers you want to serve.

What it does

AisleSim lets you build, test, and measure a store experience in one place.

01Model realistic store layoutsA virtual aisle where shelf arrangements, product facings, and signage can be changed and tested without physically rearranging a store.
02Test shopper journeysSee how representative shoppers move through the space, which products draw their attention, and how packaging, color, and promotions affect their choices.
03Back decisions with evidenceCapture dwell times and the paths taken through the simulated space, so your design and merchandising teams can show why a layout works.

How we work

We start from your shoppers’ journeys, then build the simulation around them.

As with branches, we first map who comes into the store, what they need, and where the experience breaks down. Those journeys decide what the simulation tests, and the results go back into the plan your team carries out.

AisleSim is being extended so the simulated shoppers can act on their own goals, the way personas do in BXS.
